The visiting group of East China Normal University (ECNU), one of our sister schools, visited our campus at August 14th. The members of the visiting group includes the vice-minister of Organization Department, the minister of Department of Development Planning, the deputy director of University Office, the director of Personnel Department, the director of the Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs, the staffer of the Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs, and the secretary of the Party Committee of Administrative Offices. A forum for exchanging the experiences of school’s affairs was held in the morning and the vice-president Dr. Kun-Ning Chen took the chair of this forum. In addition, Dr. Ching-Ying Lin – the Vice-dean of Office of International affairs, Dr. Yu-Huang Chiu – the director of Mainland China Affairs Section, and Mr. Chung-Hsiao Lin – the director of Personnel Office also participated the forum for a detailed discussion with the visiting group.
ECNU is an excellent school in China Mainland and there are good relationship and strong interactions between it and our school. Particularly, ECNU is situated at the Shanghai City, which is an international city in China, and so that ECNU has many international exchanging students and extensive international experiences. In the forum, all participants enthusiastically talked to each other and proposed a collaboration about the international development of both schools. Moreover, participants also discussed how to enhance the research potential and the international experience of students through the collaboration between National Pingtung University and ECNU.
